Public Relations I Full-time I Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching the market including reading relevant publications or blogs, and staying up to date with writing that is being produced in your chosen field
  • Selecting subject matter based on personal or public interest, or commissioned by a publisher or agent
  • Undertaking background research including desk based research
  • Writing individual pieces, including using the technical skills of writing and being able to structure and plan individual projects
  • Editing, revising and reviewing work especially in response to feedback
  • Submitting material for publication in the required and expected format
  • Finding, pursuing and maintaining knowledge of publication opportunities

Requirements:

  • Basic degree in any discipline (Business/communications preferred)
  • Good spoken and written English
  • At least 2 years of working experience
  • Reasonable technical skills
  • Ability to idealise, craft and execute writing ideas for press releases, scripts, website copy, marketing collaterals copy
  • Meticulousness and perfectionist tendencies
  • Independence, yet ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong drive, ability to work at a fast pace and be result-oriented
  • Initiative and desire to value add to people and their business
  • Pleasant personality and willingness to communicate with people at all levels
  • Resourcefulness
