We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Manager, Procurement Operations**.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- This is a role of Procurement Operations Team lead reporting into the Head of Strategic Procurement Services (HoP)
- Responsible for the Procurement Operations including Requisition Management, Procurement Service Desk and Accounts Payable activities at the country level
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining Service levels for the Procurement operations and Accounts payable activities that are performed in offshore centres (mainly where Purchase requisition, Service desk, Invoice processing, Reconciliations and Substantiations, troubleshooting and investigating delayed payments are performed)
- Provide guidance and advice to both Onshore and Offshore team on troubleshooting any unpaid invoices and expenses, queries from HSBC users where tickets/ invoices/ expenses are aging in the queue, ensuring that payments to vendors for goods and services are processed timely in accordance with payments terms
- Support the HoP in ensuring that the Procurement function stay compliant with the relevant policies and procedures (e.g. Finance policy, Procurement policy, Third Party Risk Management policy, Vendor onboarding, monitoring and reporting of aging expenses and payments, on-going management of third party payments and performance)
- Provide continuous support to HSBC users on payment portal process and procedural guidance where required
- To identify opportunities for Straight through Processing, i.e., drive up Purchase Order Penetration and Compliance, working with other Procurement counterparts on the Group’s initiatives by sharing and developing best practices
- Support the Procurement function with Global Request to pay initiatives

Requirements
- University Degree
- 10 years and above of Procurement Operations and Accounting experience, preferably in the finance industry
- Be customer centric, experience in promoting user engagement
- Possess good analytical skills of Third party spend for various expense categories and be able to promote best procurement operational practices
- Experience with Payment platforms (preferred Oracle Fusion, Candex)
