Freelance IELTS Online Tutor (Bilingual) Start Date: ASAP Freelance, Part time, Weekends and Evenings Salary: £20-40 an hour depending on experience At Prominent Education, part of the Xinlung Group, we help students to achieve their goals through a series of services. We are looking to recruit experienced online tutors (Native English with Mandarin Support) to join our team. Our educators deliver high-quality, bespoke sessions to our students. We offer highly competitive rates of pay. A minimum of 3–5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. An in-depth understanding of the IELTS exam, with the ability to teach efficient techniques and skills in both parts (Listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to help students prepare effectively. Native English proficiency. Willingness to provide an enhanced DBS check. Ability to use Mandarin to support teaching. Track and assess the progress of students, providing regular feedback to both students and parents, and adjusting the teaching approach as needed. Effectively utilise online platforms, screen-sharing tools, and digital resources to engage students during virtual lessons. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding the student’s progress, track areas of weakness, and develop strategies to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
