We are seeking two Postdoctoral Fellows to contribute to our research project on the impacts of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) on ASEAN's trade.

Job Description

The successful candidates will have a PhD or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field, such as GIS, economics, complex network analysis, computer science, or statistical/mathematical disciplines. They will be expected to work on big data and visual analytics approaches to analyze international trade networks and global value chains.

The project involves exploring the effects of RCEP on ASEAN's trade amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and economic/political tensions. Strong research experience in difference-in-differences, gravity modelling, network analysis, graph neural networks, and visual analytics is highly valued.

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field
  • Relevant research experience in GIS, economics, complex network analysis, computer science, or statistical/mathematical disciplines
  • Strong skills in big data and visual analytics approaches
  • Domain knowledge in international trade networks and global value chains

Benefits
