A fantastic opportunity has become available for a self-employed Legal Audio Typist to represent a leading digital dictation transcription and secretarial service with our evening/night-shift team, with additional weekend work also available. Working on a freelance basis as a remote worker, the successful candidate will earn a competitive transcription rate. Hours flexible but availability for 16+ hours per week preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As an Audio Typist your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Transcribing legal audio recordings and/or documents accurately

Quality checking and profiling work

Treating sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion

Working from home, independently, and making good use of online resources and your own knowledge base

Key Skills/ Experience

To be considered for the Audio Typist role you must have a legal background across several specialities, with demonstrable previous experience in audio typing. In addition the following key skills and experience are essential:

· Have recent legal experience of at least 3 years and covering multiple specialities

. 70 wpm

· Excellent attention to detail and quality

· Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines

· Flexible approach to work

· Case Management System experience

Proof reading experience

Payment is made on a piece rate basis and the salary detailed is indicative of potential.
