Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal network performance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to network incidents, assess the situation, and implement effective mitigation techniques to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Provide exceptional support to users experiencing network-related issues, listening to their concerns, and taking necessary steps to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute network-related tasks as part of larger projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to existing systems.
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in managing and maintaining complex, large-scale network infrastructure, providing expertise in network operations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Layer 2 protocols and enhancements (LACP, L2 ECMP, 802.1d/w/s, 802.1x).
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Layer 3 protocols (IPv4/v6, TCP, UDP) and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS).
- 1+ year of experience in stateful firewalls, non-stateful filtering and packet inspection.
- Proficient in Meraki and Juniper products
- Good to have: Experience in managing AWS network services, such as VPCs, subnets, route tables security groups, and CloudWAN
