Our Water business would like to hire a Resident Technical Officer to join our project team in an extension project at Changi WRP located in the Tanah Merah area (Singapore). This is a 2-month fixed-term contract role.
Jacobs's role is Client's Representative managing the design and construction supervision works.

Main duties
- Oversee all civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) works for the construction of the assigned facility within the project. Monitor, support, and guide the implementation of all CSA works by the Contractors including both Contractor designed elements as well as the procurement, installation, testing of the CSA works
- Part of a larger team of REs and RTOs with an indirect reporting line to the Lead RE / RTO Civil for the facility and Chief Resident Engineer (CRE) / QPS working across all facility's contracts
- Working and coordinating with other engineering departments i.e. Mechanical, ICA, and process.
- Evaluate selects and applies standard engineering and construction management and supervision techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Carry out general contract administration and management.
- Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments.
- Provides leadership and accountability for the implementation, and measurable performance, of the Jacobs Beyond Health and Safety Program.

Here's what you'll need
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess
- Minimum of a Civil / Structural Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in the construction phase of local infrastructure projects.
- Registered RTO
- Immediately available candidates will an added advantage.
