Part-time Hotel F&B Reservations Officer (6 to 8 months) ID-6213

JOB SUMMARY

Respond quickly and efficiently to all reservations-related requests made by prospective hotel guests, corporate bookers, city guests and co-workers. Promotes food and beverage sales through phone contacts and maintains a good relationship with business contacts. Assist the Restaurant Reservations Sales Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the department. This includes monitoring the department activities and development, recommending changes when necessary to improve quality of work.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Processing, follow-ups and reconfirmations for all reservations

2. Take charge of the systematic and orderly filing the restaurants.

3. Keeps the Restaurant Reservations Sales Supervisor informed of daily/ last minute group reservations development and closely co-ordinates with the Restaurant Reservation Super-visor for system updates and forecast changes.

4. Maintain an effective trace system for all bookings to ensure timely follow-up is done in-cluding reconfirmation.

5. Liaise with the Restaurant Manager or Guest Service Executive for seat assignments.

6. Assists in the group’s preparations and if required during office hours and co-ordinate with the group/ tour leader or organiser for any special arrangements (as and when needed).

7. Communicates and process No-Show/Cancellation charge or refund.

8. Handling of guest’s complaints and resolving guest’s issue when required or share with your superior.

9. Responsible for other administrative duties (e.g. preparation of reports and data collection) as assigned by the Restaurant Reservation Sales Supervisor if required.

10. As and when required, support Restaurant Reservations Sales Supervisor in ensuring smooth operations, including sufficient phone coverage, daily duties distribution, obtain and inform briefing notes.

11. Discharges function in accordance with the hotel policy.

12. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience with hotel Rooms/F&B reservations background.
  • Great customer service, communication, multi-tasking & interpersonal skills.
  • A great team player.
  • Up to 5 days' work week, including weekends & public holiday.
  • Able to fulfil at least 5 hours a day.
  • Able to commit at least 6 to 8 months.
  • S$14.00 per hourly rate.
