This role is NOT a good fit if you work IN a dental office. This is a position for Tax Firm employees. If you currently work in or have worked primarily in dental offices, your application will not be considered.)
In this role, you'll be responsible for being the third on a team of three people, helping up to forty clients with their taxes and bookkeeping. Specifically, you’ll help a CPA and bookkeeper with the myriad of tasks that need to happen to help tax returns get filed on time and monthly bookkeeping reports get completed on time. The CPA is primarily responsible for taxes. The bookkeeper is responsible for monthly financial statements. Your job will be to help manage client relationships, and help the other two succeed in their roles.

You’ll be customer-facing in this role. All of your clients are dentists. You’ll work directly with the dentists to get onboarded as clients and then you’ll help the CPA and bookkeeper manage the relationship. You’ll track birthdays and key life events, send thank you notes, set appointments, gather paperwork, and be the liaison between the dentist clients and the rest of the tax & accounting team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Client onboarding
· Customer delight – celebrations, birthdays, business milestones, etc
· Documentation collection
· Client billing & administration
· Tax & accounting team support
You’ll do all this working a typical per week typically during normal business hours, but always on a schedule that you directly influence and set.

Total annual compensation will land between $68,000-73,000/year. This is a small business, so benefits offered will be limited but not non-existent. You'll have a fully matched 401k, unlimited vacation days and other perks.
Ideal candidates MUST have experience working in a tax firm. Direct knowledge of and experience with dental practices is a plus. Preference will be given to existing employees of dental CPA firms.
